Seamus has lived and worked both in the UK and Australia (he has dual nationality). After 20 years in Australia, he moved back to West Sussex in 2010. He decided to fulfil a passion for cranes, and he is a CPCS qualified Appointed Person, crane supervisor and slinger/signaller.

Seamus’ lifting career has always been in telecoms, working with some of the best-known names in the industry. In 2017 he was appointed operations manager for a contract lifting company servicing the ever-growing telecoms sector, before being approached by Notus Contract Lifting to head up their telecoms division.

He is also the founder of LiftingWorld.net, a web app for anyone who is in, or uses, the lifting industry. He has two boys, Daire and Kilian, who take up the rest of his time!
